Overview

The Tobacco Tactical Cedar Humidor gives a growing collection real room without turning storage into a piece of disposable furniture. Cedar construction, magnetic side flaps, and an approximately 98-percent airtight seal protect between 69 and 100 cigars, depending on what you smoke.

The Story

The story behind Tobacco Tactical Cedar Humidor.

We designed this one and handed the woodworking to artisan partners in the Dominican Republic. The goal was not a mystery box with a logo added at the end; it was a cedar humidor built around the way cigar collections actually grow. The hinged magnetic flaps reduce air exchange, the footprint handles several common vitolas, and the exterior Bolt keeps the finished piece tied to the people who commissioned it.

Construction

Cedar gives the interior the material cigar storage calls for, while the 18-by-9-by-5-inch footprint leaves room for approximately 69 to 100 cigars. Two concealed magnets hold the side flaps closed, helping the body maintain an approximately 98-percent airtight seal when properly seasoned and humidified.
