Overview
Swamp Rat Skate Deck started with a practical question: how do we build something that takes the release off the screen and gives it a place in the collection without making it feel generic? Maple gives it natural character and a sturdy working surface.
The Story
The story behind Swamp Rat Skate Deck.
The Swamp Deck idea came from wanting the drop to keep working after the original release moved on. That is where Swamp Rat Skate Deck found its place in the release. The balance between collection piece and working gear gave the Swamp Deck version its final direction. Maple gave the Swamp Deck version the feel the idea needed.
