Years of requests led to the Superior Defense Tank Chaveta, a cigar cutter built to feel like real hardware instead of a branded afterthought. A machined aluminum body, stainless blade, and magnetic retention deliver the clean control we wanted from day one.

The Story

The story behind Superior Defense Tank Chaveta.

You asked us for a cutter for years. We refused to slap our logo on something off the shelf, so we worked with Superior Defense to build a new one stateside. The Superior Defense Tank Chaveta takes its shape from serious machined hardware, then brings the focus back to a clean, controlled cigar cut. Made in Charlotte with a replaceable blade and magnetic retention, it finally gave us a cutter worth putting our name on.

Construction

A 6061 aluminum body keeps the cutter light and controlled in the hand, while the replaceable 440 stainless blade delivers a clean cut without turning cigar prep into a ceremony. Magnetic retention holds the blade securely between uses, and the compact profile travels without becoming pocket ballast.
