Overview
The Raid Research Battery Cap fixes a small problem that becomes a big one when an optic dies. It replaces forgettable factory hardware with a knurled, Cerakoted aluminum cap that stores two spare batteries right where they are needed.
The Story
The story behind Raid Research Battery Cap.
Factory Aimpoint caps leave a lot to be desired, so we linked up with the homies at Raid Research and built the answer ourselves. The Raid Research Battery Cap keeps two spare batteries on the optic instead of buried somewhere in a bag. Compatibility with the sights people actually run, aggressive knurling, and a Cerakote finish made this a tiny upgrade with a very obvious job.

Construction
Machined 7075-T6 aluminum keeps the cap light, rigid, and ready for hard use. Aggressive knurling gives wet or gloved hands something to grab, the Cerakote finish handles wear, and the internal space carries two batteries without adding another pouch to the setup.
